This was very interesting. I'm reading up on Qazi Anwar Hussain because my start-up publishing company in Chennai, India is looking at publishing translations of South Asian pulp writers. If you know anyone who'd be into helping select a Masud Rana book -- ideally one whose plot isn't a pure lift from Cussler or MacLean -- and translate it to English (with help from a good English editor), could you drop me a line? Abar Shorojontro sounds good but I'm leaning towards wanting to do one of the classic old ones--the first one would be an obvious choice if it's not a pure plot lift.
