Thankfully Davis is higher than the surrounding areas so the chances of flooding are less but all the adjoining agricultural fields were under water from New Year storm. If the temperature rise continues unabated a disaster in California is waiting to happen. Sierras to the east hold the largest reserves of fresh water in California, as snow and ice. Once those start melting - watch out! I stay in north California – a bit further north in Davis.
